Early friday morning a unit from ANA together with it's British adviserser patrols the Northern part of Danish Battlegroups AOR with the Danish tankplatoon as back-up.

At about 0700 the unit gets attacked by Taliban and two British fighterjets are sent to the scene.

While the tanks are maneuvering one is caugt in a explosion but keeps driving for about 200 metres where it stops. The 3 crewmen(turret) that are lightly wounded gets out of the tank by themselves but the driver which is unconscious remains in the tank.

The unit calls for a MEDEVAC and at the same time a British fighterjet drops a bomb on the enemy position which stops the enemy fire. But after approx. 15 minutes the shooting starts again and the fighterjet drops a second bomb on the position which ends this contact with the enemy.

At about 0830 the MEDEVAC helicopter lands but only too fly away the the 3 wounded. The Danish Doc. on the scene tries to help the stock driver as good as he can. The driver is recovered from the drivercompardment at 0930 but his life is not to save. Meanwhile Feriscoy(mechinf) have left FOB Price together with a RV tank to drive to the scene.

Odincoy(mechinf) which is closer by in FOB Armadillo also send a platoon to the scene. When the platoon arrives at the scene they dismounts and start patrolling the surrounding area. At about 1130 the platoon gets attack with smallarms fire and mortars. The unit calls in for airsupport.

Meanwhile a Danish artillery radar(ARTHUR) situated on the otherside of the river tracks the incoming mortars and sends the data to the FCC. Based on these information the position gets bomb with one airplane bomb plus artillery. This ends the enemy mortarfire.

During this contact a second tank is caught in an explosions but none of the crew gets wounded. Soon after Fenriscoy and the RV tank arrives at the scene and manage too recover both tanks back to FOB Armadillo.

At 1535 Odincoy reports that the fighting in the area have stopped.
