Fladt bestätigte auf Nachfrage der Nachrichtenagentur ddp die Bewertung. Sampling sei im HipHop zwar üblich. Bevor Stücke anderer Künstler verwendet würden, müsse jedoch deren Einverständnis eingeholt werden, sagte er.

Die Franzosen und ihre italienische Plattenfirma Sound Cave haben nach Angaben des Anwalts daher Bushido und dessen Label Ersguterjunge sowie die beteiligte Plattenfirma Universal Music verklagt. Eine außergerichtliche Einigung sei zuvor gescheitert.
