The post quickly went viral and spawned many variations, interpretations, and fan works. The Backrooms meme became a popular subject for horror stories, art, videos, and games.

What is Backrooms Game?
Backrooms Game is a game that lets you experience the horror of the Backrooms for yourself. The game is developed by Pie On A Plate Productions and is available on Steam for free. The game features:

• Infinite, random level generation (over 600 million sq. miles of rooms)

• Immersive, in-depth madness system

• A being that roams the Backrooms (you may not encounter it every playthrough)

• Based on the original creepypasta/meme
