So, 2.4 ist nun offiziell:
Gestern wurden die ersten Videos zur Firmware 2.40 vorgestellt, die einige Features genauer beschreiben.
Offizieller "Release": 2. July
Erstes Video (in-game soundtrack, clock, usw.):

In-game XMB with:
- Friends list access and text messaging
- Download management
- 'Game switching without exiting'
- Custom soundtrack 'infrastructure'
- Photo thumbnail viewing
- Settings access with bluetooth device config

Google search 'bookmark'
Summary of the video
- Pixeljunk Eden and Super Stardust support trophies
- Percentage meter next to each game
- If you unlock a trophy it'll show the artwork, if not it's a generic locked trophy icon
- Profile shows 8 most recent trophies
- Your level is displayed on the left with a percentage bar towards your next level
- The number on the right side is your total number of trophies earned
- Much like XBL, developers can only have a certain amount of trophies per game depending on it's type (whether it is "large scale" aka retail or "small scale" aka PSN)
- You can only receive the Platinum trophy by unlocking every single trophy in the game. Platinum trophy will "contribute significantly" toward reaching the next level.
- Comparing friends has three options. Create Message (text), Compare Trophies, or Start New Chat.
- Developers have the tools to patch these into existing titles. According to Lempel there's a lot of titles out there that'll be patched.

Freu mich schon =). Das wichtigste Feature für mich ist, dass man endlich Nachrichten verschicken kann, ohne das Spiel verlassen zu müssen. Trophies und Ingame-Musik find ich nicht so wichtig =).
Übrigens werden nicht nur die oben genannten Spiele das Trophysystem unterstützen, sondern auch 70% der aktuellen Drittherstellerspiele.

Ich auch, finds aber scheiße, dass man die Spiele wieder von vorne beginnen muss um Trophies zu bekommen -.-. Hab keine Lust bei MGS4 oder GTA4 wieder neu zubeginnen =(

Außerdem wird man nich mehr in der Lage sein, seine Spielstände zu kopieren -.-.
Also, wenn ich bspweise eine neue Festplatte kaufen möchte, kann ich die alten Spielstände nicht übernehmen =(. Und das nur wegen dem Trophysystem -.-

PlayStation Store bekam ebenfalls ein Facelift - Entweder blocksm ode oder List mode
- reassign controllers and vibration function can be changed through xmb (accessory settings)
- videos on hard drive/mediaservers/flashdrives has now Noise/Black Reduction and can add subtitles now
- can turn off system through xmb (users section)
- parental controls have changed a bit
- photos have more sorting features
In-Game XMB
* In-Game XMB displays everything that's in the XMB, some functions (playing a video, slideshow, voice chat, etc.) require the you to exit the In Game XMB and use the regular XMB
* Custom Soundtracks for supported games (released games must be patched to support the feature)
* Music player controls for Custom Soundtracks
* Full access to the Friend List/Inbox
* Access to the Accessory Settings
* Ability to launch into a different game while playing a game
* Runs as smooth as the regular XMB
* The old PS button menu (Controller Settings, Shut Off System/Controller) can be accessed by holding the PS button for a couple of seconds instead of tapping the button.
Trophies
* 4 Trophy types: Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum
* Bronze trophies are the easiest to get, Silver is harder to get, Gold is the hardest, Platinum is only awarded when you have obtained all the other trophies in a game
* Each user will have a PSN "Profile" that keeps track of your trophies
* Each trophy type has a different value that goes towards your Profile's gamer "level" (Bronze adds less points than Silver, Silver adds less points than Gold, Platinum adds a significant amount of points towards reaching the next gamer level)
* All games will have restrictions on how many trophies they can offer (small scale games will offer less trophies than large scale games) and some games will have restrictions on what type of trophies they can offer (no Platinum Trophies in small scale games)
* Trophies can be viewed in the XMB
* Trophies can be locked by the developer just like Secret Achievements
* Trophies can be compared to friends trophies via the XMB
* Games will need to be patched to support Trophies (SSHD will have a patch hours after 2.4 is released)
* Games will not award Trophies retroactively based on saved data
* First party games confirmed to include Trophy support:

die ps3 hat die beste technik (sie könnte aber einen besseren Arbeitsspeicher vertragen)
dafür keine guten spiele und wenn die spiele gut sind sind sie auch auf xbox vorhanden
(cod 4) und die xbox ist billiger, aus dem schließ ich die xbox ist meiner meinung besser
