So how does this site work? The concept is simple: the main home page is a blank canvas of advertising space, waiting to be sold to anyone who wants it. When you purchase space on this site, you will get a one-way link to your web site, along with a text ad or small banner graphic to promote your site. The available space is partitioned into a 100x125 character grid, with each character costing $40 USD. So if you bought every single character on the page, it would cost a grand total of half a million dollars. The number of characters you purchase is the amount of text you will be allowed to type for your link. You can also choose where on the home page you would like your link to be placed. And your link will be online for 3 years starting from the date of approval. Imagine that! No recurring monthly fees, just a single one-time payment for a 3-year advertisement!
For example, let's say you are the proud owner of www.myturtlesrock.com. You could buy 32 characters, and make a link to your site that says "Do You Love Turtles? Click Here!" You can submit a banner of a friendly turtle that will appear when someone moves the mouse cursor over your link.
